TABLE OF CONTENTS
Summary
This will explain how to enable a feature that allows a user to set a profile as being ‘Monitored’. This can help when it comes to filtering profiles or checking updates on individuals. The monitored feature can be used in whichever way suits your school, for example you may monitor pupils because of attendance, or a concern may be closed but you are choosing to monitor for 2 weeks post-incident.
How to set up the profile monitoring feature
You will need Account Admin permissions to manage the origin of concern.
- Go to the Admin tab
- Click Profiles
- Click edit under Profile Preferences

4. To enable this feature, switch the toggle to On and click Save

How to use the profile monitoring feature
Start by opening the pupil profile you would like to monitor.
1. The monitoring button will be found in the top right corner of the profile

2. Enter the reason for monitoring in the pop-up and click yes, assign monitored status

3. Now that you have assigned a monitored status, this will update the profile chronology and the 'M' will appear blue

Searching for profiles with the monitored status
Profiles can be filtered by the monitored status, making it quick and easy to locate them.
1. Click the Profiles tab and Search profiles

2. In the filters, select Monitored and Apply and search
Note: We recommend selecting the current profile status, this will pull all monitored profiles whether they have concerns raised or not. This prevents missing a profile based on an active (minimum of 1 concern raised) or inactive status (no concerns raised)

Removing the monitored status from a profile
To remove the monitored status, follow the steps listed to assign a monitored status.
The only difference is that pop-up will now prompt you to explain why you are no longer monitoring the profile and say yes, remove monitored status to confirm. The removal of the monitored status will also show in the chronology of the pupil profile.
